Play practice in the Family ,Workplace, Elder, Community and Commericial sectors
DateSaturday, 9th of September 2017
Time: 9.15 am sharp until 5pm
Venue: School of Education, North Campus, NUI Maynooth, Co. Kildare
Cost: €25 for MII Members €35 for Non- Members (plus booking fee of €2.12)
CPD points (1 per hour of participation)
Parking available on site
Tea/Coffee provided on arrival and sandwiches and tea/coffee provided at lunchtime.

09.15 -9.30 Tea/coffee reception.
09.30-10.00 Introductions.
10.00-12.30 Role play 1
12.30-12.45 Feedback.
12.45-13.30 Lunch
13.30- 15.00 Role play 2
15.00-15.15 Feedback
15.15-16.45 Role play 3
16.45- 17.00 Feedback & Conclusion
Participants may chose from any combination of Role plays they wish.

Details of Sector Coordinators
Ms. Trica Hayes is an experienced Community Mediator ,trainer and techer she has practiced and written extensively in the area. Trica provides training courses to Community Law and Mediation at Coolock and holds a Masters in Mediation and has done considerable work in the area of Co mediation.
Mr. Thomas Martin has worked for a number of years in the Banking Sector and currently does consultancy work for a number of Credit Unions. Tommy has engaged in commercial reviews, written policies and completed debt restructuring for financial Institutions. He also qualified as a mediator and has an in depth knowledge of the workings of the Commercial Sector in Ireland.
Mr Seosamh O Maolaiai works a mediator with the HSE and has vast experience in Mediation Practice. Seosamh has an interest in Elder Mediation and is the Mediators' Institute of Ireland Sector Liaison officer. He is currently a Council Member of the Mediators' Institute of Ireland.
Mr Andrew Callinan has extensive experience in Mediation and HR issues having worked as a Director of Nursing in the Health Services Executive. He has worked in a variety of areas and sectors and he is a qualified mediator and has a Masters Degree in Business .He provides conflict coaching and specialist advice to start up Businesses.
Ms Aisling Sharkey works in the public service, she has extensive HR experience. She has a keen interest in Mediation practice and is a qualified Mediator. Aisling is currently completing her Doctorate and she deals with workplace issues and uses Mediation on a regular basis.
Mr Matthew Breslin is a practising Mediator in the areas of Workplace and Family Mediation. He has a keen interest in mediation research and practice and completed a Masters in Mediation at Maynooth University. He is currently a Council member and the Sharing & Learning Coordinator with the Mediators' Institute of Ireland.
